We'll pick you up at Kansai International Airport during the airport transfer window, and take you straight to your hotel to check in, freshen-up and catch up on some sleep. Tonight, you're invited to our welcome dinner where you'll meet your fellow travellers from around the world!

Today you'll travel back in time exploring Osaka during the Edo period

This morning you'll wake up in Osaka! After breakfast, we'll ascend to the skies at the Umeda Sky building, a stunning architectural wonder that offers a panoramic view of Osaka's ever-evolving cityscape. From the Floating Garden Observatory, you'll be awe-struck by the juxtaposition of traditional temples and modern skyscrapers.

Next on our agenda is a journey to the majestic Osaka Castle. A symbol of the city's rich history, this splendid fortress stands proudly amidst lush gardens and protective moats. Step into the castle's interiors, where you'll be transported to the era of samurai. You'll also have the chance to see what Osaka was like during the Edo period at the Museum of Housing and Living.  Wander through intricately designed streets, authentic houses, and bustling shops, capturing the essence of traditional Japanese life.

As the day progresses, we'll dive into the vibrant districts of Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori. Shinsaibashi's bustling shopping streets offer an array of local and international brands, making it a shopper's paradise. Meanwhile, Dotonbori is a food lover's haven, with its tantalizing street food vendors and iconic neon signs, including the famous Glico Running Man.

To end our day on a tranquil note, we'll embark on a scenic Tombori River Cruise. As you glide along the gently flowing river, admire the shimmering city lights and iconic landmarks that come alive after dusk, creating an enchanting ambience.

Tonight we'll drive the 1-hour distance from Osaka - Kyoto.

This morning you'll wake up in Kyoto! Our first stop is the Arashiyama Bamboo Groove, a breathtaking natural wonder that transports you to a world of tranquillity. Stroll through the towering bamboo shoots, and immerse yourself in the serene ambience.

Next, we'll visit the resplendent Kinkakuji, also known as the Golden Pavilion. Admire this magnificent Zen temple adorned with shimmering gold leaf, reflecting gracefully upon the surrounding pond.

To delve into Kyoto's history, we'll explore the grandeur of Nijo Castle, an architectural marvel that exudes power and opulence. Wander through the castle's ornate halls and lush gardens, uncovering the secrets of the shogun's dynasty.

Special activity: Immerse yourself in the art of tea during a traditional Tea Ceremony. Participate in this cherished cultural ritual, savouring the delicate flavours of matcha green tea and experiencing a profound sense of calm.

Kimono-wearing and Bullet train ride to Tokyo!

Step into the world of traditional Japan as we embark on a half-day exploration of the captivating district of Gion, nestled within the heart of Kyoto. Get ready to immerse yourself in the essence of Japanese heritage and cultural treasures.

Stroll along the narrow, historic streets, where preserved machiya townhouses tell tales of the past. Keep your eyes peeled for the enchanting Geisha and Maiko, gracefully adorning the streets, a living testament to Kyoto's timeless traditions.

Special activity: As the highlight of the day, we offer a traditional Kimono Experience. Embrace the elegance of this authentic attire and capture timeless moments in photographs that will become cherished keepsakes.

As the day draws to a close, we bid farewell to Kyoto, embarking on a thrilling evening bullet train journey to Tokyo. Brace yourself for the seamless transition from the traditional to the modern, as Tokyo's vibrant energy awaits us.

Lake Ashi Cruise, Hakone Ropeway ride, Mt Fuji 5th Station

Get ready for a day out in the country, as we travel to the mountainous town of Hakone. We'll start with a serene Lake Ashi Cruise, which offers stunning views of Mount Fuji (weather permitting) and its surroundings. Feel the tranquility of this volcanic lake as we sail through its crystal-clear waters.

Next, brace yourself for an exciting Hakone Ropeway ride, soaring over lush valleys and hot springs. Witness the surreal landscapes of Owakudani, a volcanic valley with an otherworldly charm.

Weather permitting, we'll visit the revered Mount Fuji 5th Station, a chance to encounter Japan's iconic peak.

This morning you wake up in Tokyo! We'll take you to Asakusa, where you'll find Sensoji Temply and the famous bustling Nakamise Street, lined with shops and food stalls.

This afternoon you'll have free time to spend as you please. Here are some activities you may wish to arrange - please check if you need to book tickets in advance:

• Mario Kart tour: A thrilling ride through Tokyo's streets dressed as your favourite game characters.
• Samurai Museum: Immerse yourself in the world of noble warriors with authentic armour and weaponry.
• Studio Ghibli Museum: A haven for anime enthusiasts, showcasing creativity from Studio Ghibli.
• TeamLab Digital Art: Dive into an interactive and immersive digital art experience like no other.
• Shibuya Crossing: Experience the frenzy of one of the world's busiest pedestrian intersections.

Enjoy your final day in Japan exploring Tokyo

We've kept this day free as we know there are just SO MANY things to do in Tokyo, you probably want to use this time to tick at least some of them off. Here are just some of the things you might like to do in Tokyo today:

1. Sumida River Cruise: Take a relaxing cruise along the Sumida River, offering scenic views of Tokyo's skyline and landmarks. This is a great way to see the city from a different perspective.
2. Samurai Experience:  The Samurai Museum in Shinjuku offers interactive samurai experiences, where you can learn about samurai history, try on traditional armour, and participate in a sword-fighting demonstration. Immerse yourself in Japanese history and culture You can also learn about the samurai's way of life and their traditional values.
3. Studio Ghibli Museum: A haven for anime enthusiasts, showcasing creativity from Studio Ghibli.
4. Mario Kart Experience:  MariCAR is one of the most well-known companies offering the Mario Kart experience. Dress up as your favourite character, hop in a go-kart, and drive through the streets of Akihabara and other famous areas.  Similar to MariCAR, Akiba Kart provides go-kart tours where you can dress up as Nintendo characters and tour around Akihabara, Shibuya, and other popular districts.
5. Tokyo Skytree: Visit Tokyo Skytree, one of the tallest towers in the world. Head to the observation decks for stunning panoramic views of Tokyo and its surroundings.
6. Meiji Shrine: Experience the serenity of Meiji Shrine, a Shinto shrine located in the heart of bustling Tokyo. Walk through the forested pathways.
7. Harajuku: Explore Harajuku, known for its vibrant fashion and unique street culture. Takeshita Street is famous for trendy boutiques, quirky shops, and delicious crepes.
8. Shibuya Crossing: Witness the iconic Shibuya Crossing, one of the busiest pedestrian crossings in the world. It's a mesmerizing sight, especially during rush hours.

Next stop: Seoul

This morning you'll fly to Seoul, South Korea!

South Korea is fast becoming a popular destination for Muslim travellers with its rich history and culture, friendly locals, better availability of halal food and unique experiences.

Today you'll step right into South Korean culture by visiting the famous presidential Blue House, a symbol of modern-day Korea, followed by the quaint Bukhchon Hanok Village.  where dressing up in traditional hanbok, before you explore Gyeongbokgung Palace and Bukchon Hanok Village.

We'll then enjoy our first meal together in one of Seoul's popular halal restaurants, and pay a visit to the Seoul Grand Mosque to pray Dhuhr and Asr. You'll then head to the hotel to check-in, rest and explore this this incredible city at your own pace.

Immerse yourself in Korean heritage

Today you'll immerse yourself in Korean culture, starting off with a trip to Gyeongbuk Grand Palace. But first, you'll be dressed in traditional Korean hanbok! You'll then have the chance to explore the palace grounds and feel transported back in time to your favourite K-drama, as Gyeongbuk is the location of many important historical events.

After lunch and prayers, we'll take you to the popular Namdaemun market. Arguably Seoul's most popular neighbourhood, you can find anything and everything here. We highly recommend you try the sweet and spicy pancakes, known as 'hotteok'! This is also where you can get your hands on the famous skincare brands that South Korea has become renowned for.

+ There are SO many things to do in Seoul - what will you pick?

Today you will visit the DMZ,  (Demilitarized Zone),, which is a 4-kilometre-wide buffer zone that stretches approximately 250 kilometres across the Korean Peninsula, dividing North Korea and South Korea. It was established in 1953 as part of the Korean Armistice Agreement that ended the Korean War, which lasted from 1950 to 1953. The DMZ holds historical importance as a reminder of the Korean War and the sacrifices made by millions of people. It's also not just a physical border; it has become a powerful symbol of the division between North Korea and South Korea.

Later, you'll have the chance to explore central Seoul at your own pace. Visit the famous landmark, Namsan Tower, for views over Seoul city. You may like to visit Myoengdong for some last-minute shopping.

Tonight, we'll have a farewell halal Korean BBQ dinner!

Suggested activities for your free time in Seoul:

1. Myeongdong Shopping: Explore Myeongdong, a bustling shopping district, and enjoy the festive winter atmosphere. The area is known for its numerous boutiques, shops, and street vendors selling everything from fashion to skincare products.
2. Visit COEX Mall - the library in particular is beautiful!
3. Street Food Tasting: Indulge in a variety of Korean street foods as you walk through the vibrant streets of Myeongdong. Warm up with some hotteok (sweet pancakes) or tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes). Be sure to check that there are no hidden non-halal ingredients.
4. Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP): Visit the futuristic Dongdaemun Design Plaza, an architectural masterpiece. DDP is a hub for fashion, art, and design, offering an inspiring atmosphere and innovative exhibitions.
5. Cultural Performance: Wrap up your day with a traditional Korean cultural performance. Look for shows like Nanta, a non-verbal comedic performance, or a traditional dance performance that will leave you with a lasting memory of Korean culture.
6. Visit the Trick-Eye museum in Hongdae and then go cafe-hopping:  Interactive museum where you pose with the paintings on the wall to look like you’re a part of the art.
7.  Insadong: Explore Insadong, a neighbourhood known for its traditional arts and crafts. Wander through the charming alleys filled with art galleries, antique shops, and souvenir stores. You can find unique Korean handicrafts and art pieces as souvenirs.
8. Korean Sauna (Jjimjilbang): Unwind and experience the unique Korean sauna culture at a jjimjilbang. Enjoy soaking in hot baths, relaxing in various saunas, and even sleeping in heated rooms for a rejuvenating experience.
9. Noryangjin Fish Market: If you're a seafood enthusiast, head to Noryangjin Fish Market, one of Seoul's largest seafood markets. You can choose fresh seafood and have it prepared at one of the market's restaurants.
10. Lotte World: If you're looking for some indoor entertainment, visit Lotte World, an expansive indoor amusement park with thrilling rides, a beautiful indoor garden, and an ice-skating rink.
